Gladiator workouts

Ancient Gladiators trained like true athletes, much like the professional athletes train today. Besides the regular training, they were also dealing with various weapons, including war, chain, net, Trident, dagger and use the lasso.

Most now have no reason to use lead cast nets or daggers. But the elevator and we are taking things on a regular basis. Resistance training has itself been associated with a host of benefits including increased bone density, increased strength, help with daily activities, reduction of body fat, leading to longer life and better in terms of heart disease.

In other words, you have not so agile and strong as a Roman gladiator, but it would not hurt to add a very, very fun and live a long and healthy life.

Gladiator athletics and aesthetics

One of the things that the Roman gladiators did not go to a gym and biceps curls. They also did not have an engine. Of course they are not likely to have weight training machines, as we do now (although I would not be surprised if someone dug up a bit. Ancient technology is fascinating).

But instead, by following the basic movements of gymnastics, they move their bodies for better training in the heat of battle as you (not to mention heavy weapons and shields, wearing heavy armor).

In my opinion, athletics much more useful than in everyday life with the big biceps or a six pack.

Train like a modern gladiator

If you do not provide a safe life in a group of actors performing in gladiatorial training, there is very little chance you ever get your hands on a trident and dagger.

What is the best contribution? Dumbbells! When you perform ballistic movements such as dumbbell pull, swings and cleans, you can easily the same or better level of skill and strength of the artist in the movies asexhibited developed.

Combined with a body weight training and you have a complete athletic training programs that you may have to do at home in your own home too. In fact, there is a program out there that already exists.
